This year marked the 40th Anniversary of legendary writer Jack Kerouac’s death. To commemorate the event, Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard and singer Jay Farrar are paying tribute by releasing One Fast Move Or I’m Gone: Kerouac’s Big Sur. The album is comprised of twelve songs that draw lyrical inspiration from Kerouac’s classic novel The Big Sur. Gibbard and Farrar also appear in the Kerouac documentry which you can also purchase.
