Gillian Grassie to Tour with Joseph Parsons
Soon to be a world wide sensation, harpist/singer-songwriter Gillian Grassie is joining Joseph Parsons on tour in Germany this month.
Blending her classical music training with folk, jazz and indie pop influences, Grassie creates music that is both smart and beautiful. Her two releases, the 2005 EP To an Unwitting Muse and 2007’s Serpentine, have bother sold out of their original pressings and put her on the critics’ radar.
Grassie also recently won the Watson Fellowship, which will give the harpist the chance to travel the world, learn recording techniques and to get a feel for different music scenes.
If you’re heading out to Germany any time soon, be sure to check out the singing siren on her tour with Joseph Parson.
