The remix kings of New York, Streetlab, are the duo who’ve gained a huge following with their epic remixes of some of the most popular classic rock songs. They now have plans to release some tunes of their own. If you’ve ever heard The Rolling Stones “Gimmie Shelter” or Creedence Clearwater Revival’s ”Fortunate Son” as an epic club remix, these guys were behind it.

Streetlab’s music has been featured in episodes of Entourage and CBS’s Eleventh Hour. When Streetlab first appeared on the scene they offered the music only on their website. They quickly garnered massive attention for their track “NYSound.” Their full length album Street Lab is set to drop in April, but you can grab the single “Rat Racer” right now on iTunes.

Attention for Streetlab flooded after their popular remix of Passion Pit’s Sleepyhead which gained the duo greater following.
