Later This Week: Shows in NYC!

Wednesday February 10th 2010 @ 10:00 am by Melissa Nastasi

Yes New York, it’s a snowstorm out there! That doesn’t stop you from having fun and heading out to a few shows this week. The snow should be cleared out by then. Even if it isn’t, then we’re sure you will be having cabin fever by and want to get out! (or apartment fever)

postellesCheck out The Postelles playing the second round of their residency at the Bowery Electric TONIGHT at 9pm. The show is 21 and up, but it’s free! Talk about a deal! If  you are a fan of infectious indie music produced no other than The Strokes’ Albert Hammond Jr., then this show is for you. Their music truly speaks for itself.
watsonThe Watson Twins are rolling into town to warm you up at The Bell House on Friday night. The girls are playing without Miss Lewis in tow, but trust us, they’re just as good. It comes at a perfect time since they just released their second record Talking to You, Talking to Me (Vanguard) this week. The Ages 18+ show starts at 7:30 sharp and is only 10 bucks!
