After finishing up a US tour with Neko Case and a three week European tour, indie folk band Deer Tick took a short break to work on their upcoming album. They are now ready to hit the road again with their grunged up, country-folk music.

More Fuel for the Fire EP (Partisan) is Deer Tick’s most current release. A short yet satisfying EP that blew up last year, even to get praise from Rolling Stone being said to be the year’s “country-rock breakthrough of the year.” Check out an acoustic performance for “La, La, La” off the EP below.

Deer Tick will start off the tour in Los Angeles’ Natural History Museum and will then travel through North America including stints at SXSW and Coachella. Tour mates will consist of Dr. Dog, Those Darlins, and Holy Sons.
