Michigan raised soul singer/songwriter, Mayer Hawthorne is about to embark on several tours this spring. The first, starting with the release of his new EP, Thin Moon which will be released at this year’s SXSW. In addition to the March US tour, Mayer Hawthorne will also be going on tour with Passion Pit this April before heading off to Europe in May.  In order to get the fans prepared for the flurry of tour dates, a new, melancholy video for “I Wish it Would Rain,” off of his debut album, A Strange Arrangement (Stonesthrow) has just been released. Check out the video and be sure to vote for it in MTVU’s Freshman 5, before heading off to see one of his live shows (including one TONIGHT!! in New York!)
