The Lost Fingers love the 80s
Ever imagine what AC/DC, Soft Cell or even Michael Jackson would have sounded like if they had French accents and played gyspy-styled jazz? Look no further than the French-Candian jazzy group The Lost Fingers’s album Lost in the 80s.
Though released in their native Quebec back in 2008, The Lost Fingers are making their American debut with their takes on these 80s classics. The trio, made up for vocalist Christian Roberge, guitarist Byron Mikaloff and bassist Alex Morissette, named themselves after the jazz guitarist Djano Reinhardt, who lost two of his fingers on his left hand.
The band has had lots of recognition in Canada, even earning themselves some Juno awards (Canadian Grammys for us yanks) and have participated in festivals and tv shows.
