The wait is finally over! Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas has officially released his first video for “11th Dimension” from the critically acclaimed debut album Phrazes for the Young.  Throughout the video, Casablancas brings out his acting chops which quite frankily, we never knew that he had in the first place. Starting off as a black and white video, showing him acting onstage, the video has three stages. The second portrays him in a 1980’s dance club performing with a band. Here he oddly seems the most natural. Jump to the third half of the video in which Casablancas’ setting is the dark and steamy future, but somehow he manages to enjoy his own music and people try to beat him up in the street. Oddly that kind of makes sense. Who doesn’t enjoy some Julian Casablancas? Check this video out, it’s a good one.
