Little Boots Applies Herself

Thursday December 17th 2009 @ 1:00 pm by Paola Capó-García

little-bootsEver wonder what a Little Boots soundtrack would sound like? No? Well, either way, now you don’t have to fake wonder.

The electropop pixie is launching an iPhone app that uses the listeners’ movement patterns to manipulate her songs’ rhythms. Simply put: you walk, she sings. You run, she sings fast. This creates a unique remix of three of her tracks—“New In Town,” “Remedy,” and “Meddle”— from her debut album, Hands. iPhoners can then connect to Boots’ social networks and share their personalized mixes via Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, and MySpace.

Boots herself can explain how it all works on her blog. Download the Little Boots iPhone app now on iTunes and compete with your friends to see whose walking sounds the best.
