Coming off a highly successful year, Shilpa Ray + Her Happy Hookers are ending it right with a couple of shows in her native New York.

In support of their debut album A Fish Hook An Open Eye, Ray and her band are performing at the Music Hall of Williamsburg December 11 and at the Bowery Ballroom December 12. Billed as jazzy punk, the quintet have become known for their high energy live shows that make the fans feel a part of the performance.

Though they are the support for The Firey Furnaces, Shilpa Ray + Her Happy Hookers are posied to take the spotlight.
