Flashy Python and Alec Ounsworth Set to Tour
Are you excited to hear Alec Ounsworth’s solo debut Mo Beauty (Anti- Records) live? What about the new album from Ounsworth’s side project, Flashy Python? Well here’s your chance to kill two birds with one stone! Ounsworth is scheduled to support Cold War Kids on tour and he’ll be bringing with him Flashy Python.
Flashy Python, the indie supergroup made up of Matt Sutton, Peter Modavis, Brian Ashby and Jonas Oesterle, will play tracks off their debut Skin and Bones, as well as songs off Ounsworth’s solo album, Mo Beauty, and songs by Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, which Ounsworth also fronts.
Mo Beauty was record in New Orleans with local musicians and features 10 tracks, with three additional bonus tracks on iTunes. Flashy Python made their debut performance at this year’s CMJ in New York City and will spend most of 2010 out on the tour.
