Bamboo Shoots have been exploding on the scene lately. The five piece Brookyln-by-way of Jersey suburbs band first started gaining recognition when they won the MTVU’s Best on Campus contest.  Immediatly after, the group penned a deal with Epic Records and are now on their way to super stardom! The guys mix a variety of instruments from synths to Indian folk drums, creating an explosion of sound. Bamboo Shoots will release their first album, Armour (Epic) today and they want you to come celebrate with them!  The band will host a record release party tonight in New York City’s Hi-Fi at 7pm.
