brian bonzBrooklyn band Brian Bonz and the Dot Hongs will be performing at Union Hall September 23 in support of his debut release “From Sumi To Japan.”

Bonz, the Brooklyn native who has been recognized as “the best of Brooklyn’s experimental rock scene” by KEXP, delivers music combing indie pop with strong narratives and an experimental edge, drawing influences from Broken Social Scene and Bjork.

Bonz will be opening for Wilco’s Mikael Jorgensen and his band, Pronto, so it’s pretty much guaranteed to be a good time.
