Musical hip hop duo, Themselves – comprised of producer Jel and rapper Doseone (Adam Drucker) are about to head out on tour  with Eyedea & Abilities, this week in promotions for their new mixtape, CrownsDown.

The new mixtape is the follow up to the freeHoudini EP (which you can download free here ) has ten tracks  full of tactful raps and robust bass lines. Themselves take it upon, well themselves, to add new futuristic synths to a classic hip hop sound with synths on top of a bass banging beat. CrownsDown is full of collaborations such as the opening track which was cowritten by Pedestrian that has rapid rap pile-ons and gives off a “we’re large and in charge” attitude. Former third member pulls the T-Pain card in an auto-tuned guest spot on the sixth track “You Aint It,” a song that has a great juxtaposition between Doseone’s harsh, hasty rapping and melodic soothing vocals by Dax.
